I teach my clients about ECI early on in their Anxiety Program.
Set a reminder on your phone every 3 hours to just check in with yourself or simply remind yourself to stop and take a few deep breaths.
The benefit to this is you:
* Go into this exercise with curiosity and love, not judgment
* Give yourself permission to have the emotions and identify where you are storing them physically
* Honor the emotions instead of bottling them up or trying to ignore them
* Are taking deep breaths and naturally allowing your body to decompress
* Are creating a new healthy habit.
