What is anger management?
The focus of this workshop is to help our clients create balance and provide alternative methods of reaction to life's challenges.
Anger Management does not take away anger, instead, we focus on how to express it constructively in ways that are not harmful to you or others around you.
Anger can be a healthy emotion when appropriately managed. If the anger goes unchecked it could lead to:
* Loss of employment/ residence
* Loss of relationships (spouse, children, friends, family)
* Added stress
* Health conditions
* Legal troubles
Our classes are a benefit to help grow in personal development in personal and occupational areas of your life. Our courses are nationally recognized and can be used to satisfy court-mandated, probation, and other legal matters.
It is the responsibility of each individual to confirm with the judge, probation, or your attorney as to whether our distance-learning anger management program will meet your specific requirements.
A Certificate of Completion will be provided on an official form commonly used by anger management providers. The certificate states "Anger Management Class Certificate of Completion" and includes your name, date of birth, case number (if for court), state and county of residence, phone number, and hours completed. We provide the same certificate for both classes (4-hour and 8-hour).
The focus of the group is:
* To Identify the Different Types of Anger and Root Causes
* To Build Emotional Literacy and Awareness
* Know the difference between Assertiveness vs Aggression
* Learn Tools in Communication
* Mindfulness Meditation
* Addressing Anxiety and Anger
* Build Self-Awareness and Self-Discipline
